825: Honoring Baba Ngoma
Baba Ngoma/Father Drum made his transition into spirit in March, 2008. He is a vital partof the Prayer Vigil community and the voice of his drum an integral one. As has become our tradition to honor those who have passed, we presence a picture of Baba near the fire to incorporate his energy and encircled it with the prayers being offered. He is remembered by those who have many stories to tell of the generous time, energy and heart beat he brought to the Prayer Vigil. He is greatly missed.
